This is mind blowingly annoying, I cant access old iphoto photos from my hard drive.

This is mind blowingly annoying, I cant access old iphoto photos from my hard drive. How and why are these not stored as simple files??? It appears the photos were stored as an older iphotos version and now they can't migrate.

I'm pretty sick of Apple holding us hostage in this type of proprietary control over our computer needs and personal content. How can such a sophisticated company make something as simple as accessing photos such a pain in the ***? Oh yeah because it probably makes them more money somehow.

Can you please help me free my photos? thank you

Love to help you but you give us exactly zero information to work with and a lot of frustration. So less of one and more of the other...

And, for the record, your images are not held hostage and there is no proprietary control over them.
