To change the width of columns within a table in NOTES:
- seems like there's sort of two "defaults": equal width for each column vs width of "text" in first row in the table
- except to "force" a wider column it looks like you cannot use characters like "m" or "—". You must use spaces
- insert a new row above the first row in your table
- click into the cell at the top of the column you'd like to widen
- keep pressing the space bar to increase the width of this column is as big as you need
To change the height of rows within a table in NOTES:
- use the "new line" character: <Option><Enter/Return> as many times as you need to get the required height
