How do I set up a family members Apple Watch so it can be found in find my… if they have their own iPhone

my partner has an Apple Watch that is connected to her iPhone. We have family sharing. How do I set up her iPhone and Apple Watch so I can use Family Sharing to locate her?

If you have properly setup Family Sharing, you should not have to setup anything else.

Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

For a misplaced iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, Mac, AirPods product, or supported Beats product, you can also use the Find My app on a device owned by someone in your Family Sharing group, or sign in to iCloud.com/find on a web browser.  For more info see:
