backing up files

how do i add files for icloud to backup?

and:

once files are backed up can I delete the files from my phone?

and:

how do I verify the individual files are in the cloud?

and:

can I view each file in the cloud and download them without downloading all of the backed up files?

If you use files on your iPhone, all of the documents will be uploaded to iCloud. iCloud is a synch service, so the files will remain on your device and in the cloud. In other words, if you delete a file on your phone, it will delete from the cloud too.
