How to connect and switch Mac keyboard between multiple computers

I have a iMac with the keyboard and mouse. I also have a windows work laptop with connects to a monitor screen through an HDMI. I am trying to connect my keyboard and mouse to that windows laptop so that I can easily switch between the iMac and the windows if I need to.

I want to do this so that I have to have two sets of keyboard and mouse. Is there a way to setup a shortcut where if I select a combination of keys the keyboard switches from the iMac to the windows laptop and thus, the monitor?

I don't want to keep manually connecting the keyboard and mouse by going to bluetooth settings on my windows and and then connecting each device. Also, how can I make it so that I can switch back to the iMac as well. Again a combination of keys or do I have to manually go to my iMac and then bluetooth settings and then connect each device?

Thanks!
