Hello. Wondering what Gen / model is the Apple TV HD on Australian apple website store? I don't have a 4K tv so am wanting to upgrade our Gen 3 hardware.

“Apple TV HD” is the 4th generation, since 2015.

Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Apple TV 4K (2021) is more modern, and will work fine with non-4K TVs too.

It would be the same model as what is posted on the US Store. The 2nd generation 4K model.
