When I turn off Apple TV, my TV restarts repeatedly

When I turn off Apple TV by pressing and holding the TV button, my Sony TV shuts down, then restarts. I then shut down the TV with the TV controller and it restarts again 3 times. With the Apple TV disconnected, the TV is fine.

Apple TV keeps randomly restarting I have a newer Apple TV. Everything has been updated. However, it keeps restarting itself randomly for some reason. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Apple TV shuts off Apple TV shuts off after about 15 minutes. System has been rebooted and totally reset with no effect.
