Manage Storage

How can I manage the storage folder called "Other"? It has some 42GB os space and I want to see wha its inside but I cannot.

You can use the storage manager on your Mac under About This Mac to find large files on your Mac. In the sidebar, click Documents, then click File Browser to view the list of all files sorted by size on your Mac.


Free up storage space on your Mac - Apple Support

You can show hidden files in this window and in Finder by pressing Command-Shift-Period (.)



Additionally, you can use third-party software like DaisyDisk or CleanMyMac X to dig into the files on your Mac and see what's taking up space.
