I’m not able to play/pause using the AirPod pros stem and no option in the settings, only see Siri and Noise Control.
I don’t have Apple Music installed but try try adding it and it didn’t work.
I have iPhone 11 Pro with 14.6

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. it appears that you have some questions about pausing audio using your AirPods Pros. You'd do so by pressing the Force Sensor or removing one of your AirPods.

i Was mistaken about the force tap needing thumb and finger instead of single finger tap. The menu option is still confusing as it doesn’t show play/pause
Hello, thank you for answering, however did you not read what I said?
When I press the stem of the AirPod pros where the “force” sensor is
, nothing happens. And there is no option to set this in settings, I should see option to play/pause. Yes if I remove them it does pause, but that’s not what I want.

This option will not appear in Settings for the AirPods Pro. However, if you're having an issue with the Force Sensor, please reset your AirPods. Let us know if this helps.
