Intermittent issues between Shazam and Apple Music is back

I have noticed again, whenever I used Shazam to search for a song and clicking on "Listen on Apple Music" it will prompt me to sign-up for Apple Music.

We are currently subscribed to a Family plan so I am confused as to I why it's prompting me to sign-up even though I already have an existing subscription.

This happens every now and then. It's just odd that the Music app still hinders me from listening to the searched song as it requires me to "sign-up".

After entering a song into the apple music search engine - the song is located in apple music.

A few monts ago was this problem. This issue forum has already been discussed on this issue, but the issue has been resolved on its own without any intervention. However, this problem seems to be back again. The solution seems to be on Apple's side. When can we expect this problem to be resolved again?

Hi Stanley.13, We appreciate you reaching out to us. We understand that you are being asked to subscribe to Apple Music when trying to listed to Shazams on Apple Music.

We recommend updating your iPhone if you haven’t. While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest version of iOS for your device can help isolate potential software issues. Kindly secure a backup and update.
