Com.toyopagroup.com and Darwin Kernel

when i turned on restrictions/time limit for social media on my new iPhone, an app that I have never heard of showed up called com.toyopagroup.picaboo showed up among my few other apps. The app has no icon and is not available in my app library. apparently it has both used data and been active on my iPhone. apple support has no idea what this is and they do not want to answer any questions.

this is only one of the fishy things with my devices. I bought a brand new iPad not long ago and when I turned it on it was connected to someone’s AirPod max right from when I unboxed the device and this AirPod max was also Conected to my Apple ID. I deleted it before I was informed that I have to erase it and now I can’t find it any more. I wrote down the serial number of the AirPod max and I have been informed that it is an actual device sold in my country but it was not shipped to my region.

i really want to know why this device was conected to my brand new iPad and why Apple isn’t taking my questions serious. I have extensive documentation, will this help me?

i reviewed the analytics file and saw some crash report containing Darwin Kernel, is that open source code for iOS? I can’t connect the file to any app I have.

my iCloud has stuck between two Apple ids and I don’t get hold of the data in my previous iCloud. All my devices are unable to change Apple ID, the post Is just gray. I don’t know anything about computers/iPhones/code so please don’t laugh at my questions if they are silly. Right I don’t feel safe with my device and Apple care just tell me that it is not their job to answer my questions regarding software. I have photos of family and stuff so I really don’t want to delete all content on my phone, and my iCloud is very strange so can’t rely on uploading my photos there. What can I do? Am I hacked?

”com.toyopagroup.picaboo”: Toyota group is company whose made (makes?) SnapChat, and Picaboo is the original name for SnapChat. Google toyopagroup. Nothing nefarious there.

Darwin is the kernel for macOS/iOS/iPadOS. Nothing nefarious there either. The analytics will have all sorts of stuff in it that you have never heard of. The analytics won’t make sense to you, and there’s really not a lot to be learned there.

Dunno about your Airpods experience, but if your IPad was brand new it would have started out with the setup screens. I doubt they will pair at that point but I don’t know for sure. If your iPad didn’t start out with the setup screens (I.e., with the “Hello” series of screens with black type on white pages) it wasn’t brand new.

Can’t comment specifically on your iCloud question because it is not clear to me what you are saying, but you can always go to the website iCloud.com, log in, and download all your pictures from there if you fear losing them. Best to do on a computer or a different device.

Good luck.
