The heating in the M1 Macbook Air

I have been using this fan-less MacBook Air for around 5 months now. And I realized some certain apps make it overheat. Since there is nothing I can do to cool it, should I stop using those apps? I am wondering if there is anything I can do about it.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.4

Reset the SMC:  If you have a Mac with Apple Silicon, just restart your computer.
