Music stops playing whenever I open Facebook.
If anyone faces this issue, just deactivate the auto play video. It means just turn it off. Restart the Facebook app. And solved!!

go to your settings in facebook, scroll down to preferences and click “media”. there should be a selection that says “never autoplay videos”. restart the app and it should fix the problem.

This no longer works I had never autoplay selected already but YouTube music still stops every time I open fb .Happening since the latest iOS update Apple 13 mini
Thanks for all the folks here trying to help by toggling various settings, and exploring different menus. I followed along with a few, and some didn’t work, some worked for a few app switches and then stopped working. None seem to be a permanent fix so far for the issue. iPhone 12 Pro Max iOS 15.1
sometimes it works sometimes i do need to restart the phone. We need a permanent answer

I checked the Facebook settings and the access to the camera and other settings are already off, the problem is still not solved yet I don’t know why!! 😞

Me too. The app continues to pause my music even after doing this. Also, not for nothing but Facebook robot moderators have been non stop banning me from activity for no specified reason. Tired of this app
It’s blatantly obvious why the music your playing stops and no you can’t stop this from happening by messing with Facebook settings it doesn’t work following those futile instructions . Apple could make there settings work as they should do but there not going to that as that would mean you had control of your own apple device and that would never do ,just received an email from them which contained a file for me to open and view ( but my £600 apple device isn’t compatible, this file was sent from apple to an apple device) so I couldn’t read it . it beggars belief the Controlling arrogance My £600 ipad is absolutely fabulous shame though I’d like to control it how I want I’m sure someone else must think the same !!!!!!!

This problem occured Today. I suspect it was caused by me starting to use Apple Music 6 month 'free' offering. Utterly frustrating!
