iCloud storage - leaving family sharing
What happens to backed up photos, etc that are in iCloud storage. Is there a grace period to allow the person who left family sharing to subscribe to their own storage plan?.

Hi bmclaren99,
We understand that you're curious about what happens with a shared iCloud storage plan after leaving Family Sharing. It looks like you came over from the article Leave Family Sharing, which was a great place to start.
When it comes to leaving a Family, you have the option to purchase your own storage plan to continue using iCloud storage. The data that is stored in iCloud is attached to your Apple ID/iCloud account, so nothing will happen to it when you leave the Family as long as you have sufficient storage to cover your data. Find more information about this in the following article towards the bottom of the page: Share an iCloud storage plan with your family.
Hope that helps!
