My screen recording failed to save. So does it mean I have lost the recording. If yes then how do I retrieve that.. it’s a important recording

I screen recorded a live, which I have done before, ended the recording when I thought the live was over, turned it back on because it wasn’t, and when I checked back this morning, only the separate 3minute recording I took at the end was there. Record the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If it failed to save then likely it does not exist.
