do I have to share purchase sharing for my icloud storage plan

Can i retain my own payment method for my icloud storage plan if i join a family sharing plan, or will the administrator of the family sharing plan be required to pay for my icloud storage with their credit card?

If that method is store credit, it'll be charged first. Otherwise, you won't be able to use it.
