"Apple" folder in PC empty but has 143 GB

Hello. I have a folder on my PC named "Apple" (C:\Users\(Username)\Apple) that shows empty but when checking the properties, there's over 242k files taking up approximately 143 GB of space. I tried showing hidden files under the control panel but it still doesn't show anything. Does anyone have an idea what these files are?

As I transfer the files to another drive, the names of the files are just large strings of letters and numbers.

The only thing I found was this thread but I'm not sure if the response is applicable to my situation. Thank you.

Weird if it still shows empty but you can see the number of files and the folder size, and copy the contents to a new path. 😕

Thank you for the reply. I changed it to show hidden files, folders and drives. I also unchecked hide protected operating system files but it still doesn't display the files or folders in the Apple folder. I guess I will try to create a new back up of my iphone and see if it creates a new Apple folder where the old one was.

I would imagine that the folder contains iOS device backups. Change your options to show both hidden and system files, then look again.
