I needed to delete some files from my icloud storage to make some room. I did this but it looks like in that process a number of screenshots that I had saved into a dedicated folder have also disappeared. Are they gone forever? Would very much appreciate some help.

-Check your Recently Deleted folder
If they were on the desktop then you'll need to recover them from a computer backup. Do you use Time Machine?
Thank you but this is not the issue. I have lost all my screen shots that I had saved to my desktop since upgrading to BigSur 11.5.1 and also trying to free up space in my iCloud.
