Hi, my mac is broken and my iPhone is on its way out too... I have to back up my iPhone via iTunes and I do have the use of a work laptop for a week, just checking though that my information will be stored on my iTunes ACCOUNT rather than on the LAPTOP... is that correct?

Your information will be stored as part of a backup file. The information will not be individually accessible unless someone tries to restore a device from the backup. For added security you can encrypt the backup.

The backup will be stored on the laptop.
As noted above, if you choose to encrypt the backup, it will not be readable to anyone without the encryption password that you set.
