Does the new magic keyboard work with a Mac OS 10.15.7 desktop?

I need a new keyboard - wondering if the new magic keyboard will work with a Mac OS 10.15.7 desktop.

Can anyone tell me what I need? Thanks!

Is the Magic Keyboard w/ 10 key compatible with Macbook Pro 15" Retina 2018? I utilize my Macbook Pro as a desktop as well as laptop and have finally decided to place it on a platform and connect a keyboard. I want the Magic Keyboard with 10 Key... BUT, when I look under compatibility, everything seems to be listed OTHER than my Macbook Pro 15" Retina 2018. Is the keyboard truly not compatible with my laptop?

To check which Mac Desktop you actually have:

On your Mac, click the little Apple icon, on the left of the top menu bar.

Choose "About this Mac"
