Scan Documents with iPhone always fails with large scans

More than few pages Scan with iPhone will always fail with message on the screenshot.

This issue was reported last year and is not fixed till now.

Why using latest Mac and iPhone we should experience at least 1+ years old bug of basically essential part of the functionally?

This is the only way to scan docs fast without using a scanner.

P.S. I was using it for years on Google Drive with no issues, but on iPhone Google Drive doesn't have this feature and the only option is to use it on Mac via Iphone.

You do know Scan Document feature is built into Notes app on your iPhone, right?

Or, as you can always combine few scanned documents, as long we are talking about PDF format, into one, so as alternative way, scan each page as single document then stitch them all up into one.

Hello Positive_Nerd,

We would be more than happy to assist you with scanning documents with your iPhone.

Are both your iPhone and Mac up to date? Here is how to update both devices:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update macOS on Mac

Try these steps here: Use Continuity Camera on your Mac

If those steps do not help, try these: Insert photos and scans with Continuity Camera on Mac

Have a great day!
