Hi manju230! If you see an upgrade available in settings then your device is qualified to get an updated iOS version. If you see an upgrade available; then you need check if you have enough space on device. You can go to settings and checkout the storage. If you do not have enough storage; you need to free up the space by backing up contents on your Phone on to your iCloud or your PC/Laptop and keep only absolutely required contents on your device. After having done that; force restart your iPhone basis whichever model you have and then go to the settings and check if you can now upgrade. If these steps do not help and if you still see an upgrade to a higher version of iOS; you must take your device to a nearest Apple Store. Hope this helps!

Updating an iPhone?
What to do:
A. Verify Compatibility:
What are you looking to update to? Confirm the model of your iPhone. If iPhone model is incompatible with iOS13 and/or iOS14, then it is because you iPhone does not meet the hardware requirements for this iOS version(s).
B. If Compatible...
1. Back Up First:
IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update
then...
2. Proceed with the Update:
More information is needed. Without knowing what version you are currently running or what phone you are using there is no way of knowing what could be going on. Also, if you can tell us what you are seeing when you try to update, this can help a lot as well.
If you have a phone that is 6 or older, then you aren't going to be able to update to the latest version of iOS. If you are getting a message that your phone is already up to date when you try to do an update, then your phone is already running the latest version that it is capable of running and you will not be able to update it any further as the hardware is not capable.
Hello Manju,
Which iPhone do you have and which iOS version is currently installed on it? What exactly do you see on your screen when you attempt to update your iPhone?
