Try the following, and see if it works:

On your iPhone:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Your Name (top item)
3. Tap: iCloud
4. Tap: iCloud Drive
5. Go to: the Home Screen
6. Tap: Files app
7. Tap: Back button (top left corner)
8. Tap: On My iPhone
9. Hold Down: on file
10. Select: Copy
11. Tap: Locations
12. Select: iCloud Drive
13. Tap: a folder
14. Go it: iCloud.com on another device, and view this item.

I’d say it’s pseudocode that I wrote. It was fun to do, on my end. 👍

Be sure you understand that the document is synced to iCloud. If you delete it from one device, it gets deleted from iCloud as well.
