QR reader
I have an iPhone 8 and have tried numerous times to read QR codes as per camera instructions and it hasn’t worked.

Hi there,
To read a QR code, open the default iPhone camera app and point the camera towards the QR code. Don't take a photo.
If the camera can read the QR code, a notification should slide down from the top of the screen.
Click the notification and it will take you to the QR code's link.
If you are having trouble getting your iPhone to read the QR code & The Notification won't Slide Down:
- Try a different QR code. Search up 'QR code' on your computer and go to images. See if any of the QR code's scan.
- Restart your iPhone
- Press and hold the side button until the power off slider appears.
- Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off
- To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
