Siri always says "I don't know the answer"

The Siri app for my 12 pro struggles to understand English or Spanish. Resident in the UK for 35 years and Spanish born.

I can assure Apple that I speak properly both languages but always the same “I don’t know the answer”.

I have tried unsuccessfully to enlist help from Tweeter @AppleSupport but to no avail.

Obviously my anger level has gone up few notches with Apple to the point that I have deleted from my phone all Apple apps that could generate any profit for Apple Inc.

I have silenced or closed all permissions from Silly (Siri) but I would love to delete it as you do with all the useless rubbish that clutters the phone memory even anything as small as a 1 kB of garbage.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey AnotherOneWithQuestions,

You’re not able to delete Siri but you can go to Settings > Siri and turn off much of it’s functionality there. Take a look at this article for more info:

Thank you again Less, that’s what I did after Apple support never offered any help despite insisting several times.

My only satisfaction was to delete all the Apple money making features making the phone a very average phone except for the camera but nothing to fire rockets either when the competition outweighs on everything including price.
