At last, an easy question...
When you ask Siri a question, don't pause between "Hey, Siri...." and the rest of the question. On newer phones, Siri is fast enough that you no longer have to wait for it to activate. So, just say, "Hey, Siri, what time is it in Fiji?" and there will be no "uh huh?"

I would rather say Hi Siri
But Apple sets it at Hay Siri like Siri is a Horse and you're asking if it's hungry
It's not proper English it Rude Garbage
HAY SIRI?
One could look at it the other way. You're being rude by saying "Hey, Siri..." and then saying nothing.
Of course, the whole idea of "rudeness" with a piece of software is just kind of silly.
You don't ever have to hear "uh huh" again from Siri if you don't want to. But, if you prefer not altering your behavior and upsetting yourself every time you hear it, that's a choice, that you, as an adult, are free to make.
Uh, Happy Solstice!
If you feel that way, you should let Apple know. Use this feedback link. Feedback - iPhone - Apple
That isn't a solution
IT is just Rude
Should just say YES and not be Rude
Uh, huh.
Rude Impolite and Bad English 😹
Siri must be a Horse
