Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have a early 2016 retina 12 inch MacBook, when I plug it in to change, the battery icon starts flashing, it starts making sounds and does not register the charger. It’s like it’s showing a charge/discharge. I have moved it to several different outlets and it happens at every one. Battery says it’s normal, when I go into system preferences. This just started happing after a new software update. Any ideas?

I just tried to reset the SMC that did not help at all. I have ordered another charger to see if the one I currently have is the problem. It flashes back and forth between power supply and battery when I plug the charger in and says battery not charging. Is the battery replaceable in this version of MacBook?
