imessages and facetime

I just changed over phone plans to a new carrier and it won’t verify my phone number for iMessages and FaceTime. I’ve tried resetting my phone and a few other options and it still just says “verify” with a loading sign

If you signed out of iMessage and FaceTime on your original carrier and have tried to activate it on a new one, is it possible that the new carrier is blocking the SMS needed to activate iMessage and FaceTime? Is this new carrier and Apple Supported carrier? If you are unable to activate iMessage and FaceTime, see the instructions here, If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
