How can I get deleted contact back that was inadvertently deleted

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand that you'd like to retrieve a contact that has been deleted, so we'd like to share some information with you. If you use iCloud Contacts, when a contact is deleted it's also removed from iCloud and any devices you're signed in to. Learn more here: Set up and use iCloud Contacts.

If you don't use iCloud Contacts and you have a backup of your device, you can restore from a backup that contains the contacts that were deleted. Keep in mind, if you restore from a backup, any information that has been put on your device after the backup was created will not be restored.
