Can’t login to App Store and iTunes

Nope. I get stuck at a dialogue that says "Sign in to the iTunes Store" "If you have an Apple ID, sign in with it here" but then it only has a field for my password, not the apple ID. When I click on "download" despite the login, the dialogue says "You must enter both your Apple ID and Password". I am running 14.7.1 on an iPhone 8.
