Apple Music on AppleTV stops playing/static

Over the last few weeks after playing 4 or 5 songs in a row, the audio will stop while using Apple Music on my latest gen AppleTV 4K (and latest tvOS). The song will appear to be playing, just no audio. Other times loud static will be introduced in addition to the music. I typically cycle power to the device to get a temporary fix.

None of these issues appear while watching video, so I doubt it's hardware related.

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are experiencing issue with Apple Music on your Apple TV.

To start, does this happen with any other music streaming service? Also, Have you tested this using another Wi-Fi network or another band on the same Wi-Fi network? Let us know, and we'll do everything we can to help.

Hello,

This has only been an issue with Apple Music. I haven't adjusted my wifi settings. I'm wondering if there might be a bug when switching between Dolby Atmos and Stereo.
