Image Capture problem
I can't get Image Capture to scan anything on my Epson Perfection V700. I'm running macOS Big Sur 11.5.1
Anybody have any suggestions?

Have you checked with Epson to see if your V700 is compatible with macOS Big Sur.
Click on the link below to go to the Support site for this scanner,

Make sure the operating selector is set for macOS 11 Big Sur
Click on the + buttons to reveal the downloads available to you, there was a scanner update on the 23rd July this year.
Click on the arrows to the right for more information and the Download button.
Download these and then install them.
Restart you mac and see if your scanner will now scan.
If you are getting a message saying that the mac cannot connect to the scanner try this.
Click once on your Desktop.
Click on Go in the menubar and select Go To Folder.
Enter this text.
/Library/Image Capture/Devices
press Go.
A new Finder window will open inside Devices you should see
EpsonScanner.app.
Control-click on that and select Open.
Does you scanner work now.
