Mac Podcasts App keeps crashing
The Podcast app on my Mac keeps crashing. Anyone else seeing this!??
iMac 27″, macOS 11.5
Maybe fixed in Apple Release a Big Sur 11.5.2 yesterday Aug 11 - do a TM Backup before attempting the update as a precaution.

I did log into my wife's account on this computer and the app worked. Issue with my user account??
Does this issue present when booted in to Safe Mode and choose the correct method depending on CPU Intel or Apple Silicon M1??
Safe Mode will do a repair disk, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, e extensions and fonts so loads slowly - norma; Once logged in these for 5 - 7 minutes. If the Issue does not present - there might be an issue with your User Account and / or third party software installed on the computer.
Was hoping that would be the case. But it did not help. Still crashing. I believe it started after updating to 11.5….
Thanks for the suggestion. Went to Safe Mode, and had the same issue. App crashes on opening and sends report to Apple.
Yes the issue is specific to your User Account.
