My subscriptions are on an apple id that is no longer valid and got a new phone and asking to log in to recover those subscriptions how can I change the subscription apple id

You have to cancel the subscriptions on the old ID and then subscribe on the new ID. If you are having trouble accessing the old ID to cancel the subscriptions, contact iTunes Support for assistance. See the Apple Support articles below for contact information.
