Same thing just happened to my 2019 16" MBP two weeks ago. I tried all kinds of key combos I searched on the Internet, but no luck.

Took it to the Apple store, and they tried a 15 minute process to see if they could get it started... no luck. Sent off for service, and the motherboard and (touchbar?!) were replaced. The hard drive was gone too (because hard drives are are soldered to the motherboards).

Fortunately it was under AppleCare, else it would have cost ~$550

Hopefully you have better luck than I did! Maybe the 15 minute thing the Apple Store can do could help.
