I can’t get the automatic proxy PAC URL provided by the college to work on my ipad. It works fine on my other devices like android or PC. But on the iPad, I can’t access my institute’s Intranet websites and access to paid journals using proxy while other websites work normally. Any help regarding this would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for your follow up and the screen shot. If your device can connect to other networks, then it means it is the network and you will have to reach out to someone at your college.

Yes I can connect to other networks. Even with the proxy the other websites work fine. Just the intranet websites don’t open and it works fine with other devices connected to the same network. I have attached the error message and the proxy
My device is up to date and running on the latest version.
Thanks for the reply. I have tried to reach out to the network administrator at college. They said the settings are all right. Also I am able to connect to intranet websites using the same proxy PAC url with my other devices on the same network. It’s likely that there are some privacy settings or something that is not allowing it to connect. I am a new user of iOS devices.
