can i cancel restore??

i was updating my ipad but its been more than 8hrs already so support told me that i could force restart so i did and now im in the restore screen and i saw that doing this might delete all the info and i dont want to lose it so i was wondering if there is a way to just cancel restore or at least make sure my info wont be gone when i turn it on

Greetings, hold down the power button and slide to restart and your iPad should come back up and on as normal.

If your iPad was plugged into power and you held down the home button and side button to restart then that process is what puts your iPad in restore mode. Just holding down the side button and sliding to restart should boot your iPad back up as normal.
