Is disk doctor pro useful ?

Is disk doctor pro useful ? I have an iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2019) running Big Sur 11.5.1.

iMac, OS X 10.11

Agree with previous poster and never use Their Party Apps that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS, alter, modify, remove or delete or attempt to do so is an invitation for disaster and may require a Reinstallation of the OS.

Years ago the brand tried to 'make a go' of it.

Did some follow up & still looks like a fossil.


Maybe comparable to scam-level of 'badnews/cleaners'.

Dogpiles of those are lurking online: macOS destroyers.


My choice, is to use nothing invasive; however I do use

free versions of 'Malwarebytes for Mac', & 'Etrecheck'.

From their maker's sites; for they can help a mac, too.


Otherwise the tools built into the macOS are above

most users capabilities; the main issue, is when folk

start to turn off security; and let malware adware in.
