Question regarding engineering and Macs.

If you are studying Engineering, the best computer to have is the same one as everyone else in your program. Contact your school and ask them what their requirements are.

Otherwise, you will spend time crossing over and chasing down equivalent tools, rather than doing what you should to be doing.

If you need a special purpose machine such as a supercomputer for certain kinds of work, time on one in a lab or online will be provided.
