Connection Error(Check your network settings and try again). I have a new router/modem. Ethernet cable connected. WiFi working with all other devices. None of the AppleTV apps work. Same message comes up. Not connected to Internet.

None of the Apple TV apps are working. Everything is connected and in working order. New router/modem with Ethernet. All other devices connected. Why is the Apple TV not connecting?

Couple things to check. Make sure you're get a Link light on your router where the Apple TV is connected. If you have Link light, then the Apple TV's interface should be up too. Next go to Settings > Network and make sure you're getting an IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS entry. These should be provided by your WiFi router.
