My MacBook wanted me to upgrade to Big Sur last night. For the last couple of hours, it has been stuck at setting up iCloud account. How can I stop this? I need my computer.

If you are stuck you can always force quit the Mac by holding the powerbutton/TouchID for ~6-10 sec.
Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac - Apple ...
reboot as normal and try again.
