Can’t pair iPhone 12 and iPad Pro

Error message on iPhone says “Pairing Unsuccessful” my “iPad is not supported.


Both have up to date software and I’ve toggled Airplane and Bluetooth on and off.

iPad Pro 12.9-inch, 2nd Gen, Wi-Fi

You cannot pair a iPhone and iPad.


To turn on text forwarding:

On your phone. Go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding and ensure that you iPad is toggled on.


If you don't see the iPad, ensure that both devices are signed in using the same Apple ID. You may want to log out of both devices and log back in.
