Phone thinks headphones are in when they are not

My iPhoneSE thinks that my headphones are plugged in when they are not. I have checked all sound settings. I have turned the phone on and off with hard reset. I have reset the phone. I have tried plugging in headphones and unplugging them. I can hear fine through headphones.
