WLAN/wifi repeater

My iPhone 8 Plus fails to get seamless wlan connection to a repeater when changing a room.

what only helps is to switch off wlan wait at least 20 sec or to restart.

the iPhone shows a connection in wlan admin panel (see pic), but in realitas it does not have.

any hints?

iPhone 13 drops BOTH WiFi and cellular connection overnight My iPhone 13 is dropping both the WiFi and cellular connection overnight. It occurs at home and at work (I work 48 hr shifts) so it’s not isolated to one location. Every morning I have to shutdown and restart. Simply switching airplane mode, WiFi or cellular does not resolve. It requires a full shutdown. Running iOS 16.1.2

Connecting to Hue Bridge for Homekit This problem is a cross-platform issue, I've found that the guru's on here tend to provide the best support. I'm trying to connect a Philips Hue bridge to my Homekit. Every time I type in the code on the back of the device, it errors and says, "unable to add accessory, the setup code is incorrect.". It doesn't matter if its on my iPad Air II or iPhone 12 Pro Max. I am totally up-to-date on iOS software. I have an Orbi network and have factory reset it as new. Now, it seems that the problem is that my iPhone and iPad are connecting to the network as a 5ghz devices. But the Bridge is on the 2.4ghz and so they aren't communicating. However, I can't turn off the 5ghz network in the network settings on the Orbi web portal for the router. Is there a work around for this? I'm not 100% sure this is my problem. Maybe something else is going on? This is the first time I've set up a Philips product and my first foray into a smart home. I thought by going the Homekit route it would be easiest since I'm already in the Apple ecosystem, but this has proven to be very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated!

As far as my experience shows, WiFi to Repeater needs to be connected manually even if you have the same SSID. I am not sure what you mean by seamless.

It will connect to a repeater automatically only when the Main Router signal is lost completely or too weak and the Repeater Signal is available and strong enough. Then it will connect seamlessly without any doubt.
