I sold my iphone 7 and i bought an Iphone XS max ,I logged in with my iCloud account but now i have only some of my photos,not all of them that i used to have on my iphone 7, can you help me how to get my photos back please?

It will be based off when the iPhone 7 last synced to your iCloud. If the photos do not show in icloud.com once you sign in means they were not synced to icloud.
