Black photos..

why are my pictures sending to receivers text messages as black I’ve tried all your recommendations from other questions I've found on here. it’s the same way in my photo gallery even some of my older pictures if I’m swiping looking at pictures I can swipe be looking at pictures and Bam there’s a black screen no picture until I X out to where I can see all the pictures and the picture is there but when I tap on it it’s a black screen

From your post it appears that you are seeing black frames in your pictures.


The page you came from, About iMessage and SMS/MMS, explains the differences in the types of messages your iPhone can send.


Is iCloud Photos being used? Tap on Settings > your name] iCloud and check to see if Photos is enabled. If it is, we would suggest toggling that off, restarting the iPhone, and then toggling iCloud Photos back on.


If that does not help, we would recommend reaching out to Official Apple Support. They have a team that specializes in photos issues.
