Allowing email apps to access my photos.

When I try to use AOL or Gmail, I don't have access to my camera roll. When I go to settings, there is nothing in the settings for either app to allow access. I have gone to privacy and set it to allow for my camera and photos, but nothing is there. When I go in there, all it tells me is that apps that have requested access to my photos will appear there, but there are no apps. It is getting very annoying. I should not have to offload them to my computer just to attach them to a picture. It has to be something with the newer OS because this didn't happen before.
