I have an iPhone XS that was submerged in water for less than a minute, about 2 feet deep, and the phone is displaying significant water damage. The TrueDepth camera is disabled and the display has been malfunctioning. Disappointing because this exposure seems within the water resistance standard. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Johnathan is right. The phone is water damaged, cannot be repaired and will need to be replaced. Since liquid damage is not covered by warranty, you'll have to buy either an Out of Warranty replacement phone for about 60% of the original cost of the phone, or just buy a new phone.

Water resistance degrades over time. Apple advises you don't submerge your phone in water.
