Question

print large image

Can anyone advise the best way to print an image 240 x 110 cms. I want to print it to multiple pages and then tape it together. The file is in either pdf or png format. Thanks

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 11.2

Not functionality that Apple includes in the operating system. See the Mac App Store. SplitPrint is an example of an application that can do this. More on vendor's site. Verify that this will split existing PDF before you consider the purchase.

I do not own the product, or have anything to do with the developer.

Here's some food for thought:

Found two online printers that will print that size of print. The one in the US will print a maximum size of 95" x 40" and the European printer can do the full 240 cm x 110 cm.

I don't know if the project is worth the cost but it won't be cheap on ink to print that many pages.
