The last few days on my Facebook messenger app, I’ve tried to share a gif only to find that the option is missing. The app is updated. I don’t know if anyone else has had this problem but when I select the + sign button, I only get 3 options “ poll, create a room and a dollar sign but no gif option. Has anyone had this problem lately?

In FB Messenger, they hide the GIF option. Tap the blue smiley face icon in the text area and that will open the GIF option. (Between you & me, it would’ve made more sense to place the GIF option with the others under the Plus icon instead) Confusing.
I press smiley face and get this, still no gif
Thank you - just lost it after an update and all the ‘fixes’ on Google didn’t help. So simple but do difficult to find!
Actually I am having the same exact issue. I personally have an Iphone X, but it does not give me an option either.

This is a cop out. And it actually happens right after you do the Apple security update. Mine was working fine until I did that and I didn’t even realize at first until I updated my second iPhone that still had the gifs on it that I was using because it had gifs still. Fix it and stop passing the buck.
It happened after the update, the answer were you press the + sign doesn’t provide the options, we know Facebook it’s not your product but the issue started with the 15 iOS update.
